Southwest Airllines exploring a new concept

If you ride Southwest flight 90 back and forth between Las Vegas and San Francisco, the flight attendent will rap and sing the pre-flight emergency instructons to you.

Southwest found that the passengers really listen to the emergency instruction instead of "tuning-out" that part of the fight. The passengers gave the rapping attendent very high marks.

Soleclip, I once took an Alaska Air flight from Fairbanks to Seattle and the flight attendant delivered a satirical emergency info speech. I learned that the "...Boeing 7 blah blah series is designed to land in water, but only once..." and we were told to don flotation jackets, "blow like mad..." into the inflation straw and "follow the disco lights on the floor to the nearest exit". If those who were near the exit doors felt they could not open them in case of an emergency, they were told to "feel free to move aside" and everyone else behind them would be glad to do so.
