When i was very sick, an angel visited my wife

This is a 100% true story.
As I have said on other places on this web site, my wife seems at times to connect with other planes of existance, like for example, she might say this house feels sad or happy, and I wonder what took place here. I myself like to study about UFO's.
Also, I have said my wife and I knew each other as children, and she said her destiny was to marry me. She moved away and I forgot about her, but when I was in college, she appeared at my door, and with our parents permission we did marry. We are just normal people and we, like every one else, have had our ups and downs.
On my 55th birthday, when I woke up that morning, I woke up with a rare disease called IDIOPATHIC (no reason for)THROMBOCYCTOPENIA(no blood platelets)purpura(skin turning bruised) or simpley called ITP.Basicly I could hemorrhage to death at he "drop of a hat". The doctors took my spleen out thinking it would help, but it did not. A cancer drug call RITUXAN finally put me into remission. My antibodies and immune systems had gone crazy, and the RITUXAN seemed to calm everything down.
While my wife was waiting for me to come out of spleen surgery, she was very worried. She went to the coke machine and meet a kindly old african-american woman, but she noticed her dress was from the civil war days. That was not too unusual because we live near a civil war battleground, and they all the time are having battlefield dress ups.
She said to my wife "child, your husband will be fine, so don't you worry" and "you left these 3 new pennies in the coke machine", and she gave them to my wife.This made my wife feel much better, but when my wife turned around to thank her, she was gone, and nobody else had seen her.
My wife did not think anything about it, but 3 months later, OPRAH WINFREY had a TV program on "all about angels".
When OPRAH WINFREY said that angels have been known to leave behind NEW PENNIES, my wife almost "fell over".
So, my wife believes someone upstairs was looking out for me !
Again, this is 100% true.

I did not see that OPRAH WINFREY show with my wife, because during that time period I was in out of the hospital so much.
My wife told me about the program, and she simply said it was like a "calling card" from an angel.
I really have never heard about the "penney thing" either. Maybe someone else who posts here might know.

From what I know historically - Because pennies were found so frequently (especially by kids) a whole story (which may or may not revolve around a poem) evolved which parents used to tell their kids - more so in America at the turn of the century. They used to tell the kid that a penny was from heaven and was thrown down by an Angel who was missing them....

I may be mistaken but the song and play 'Pennies from Heaven' grew out of the same folk legend.....
