I just saw a...well.... a ghost!

I did - seriously - no wind up. Sitting in the sitting room looking at the doorway entrance and it passed from left to right - smoky/shady apparition (sp?) absolutely a 'person' but moving not at floor level - the head was nearer the ceiling and there was no sound as it made its way from left to right - I didn't feel alarmed, or threatened or anything - I just felt kinda gobsmacked lol...Tracey is taking a picture of the area now and she'll photoshop in what I saw - but I repeat the weird thing for me was that it was not 'grounded' - it was moving in mid-air....

Now I don't normally subscribe to this kind of thing but there's NO denying what I just saw lol.....

This isn't a joke, apparently he did. He's having trouble with the database with his username right now so I'm posting it up. As soon as he's given the server company a piece of his mind and they've fixed it, he will come back and tell you of what he saw, but he described it to me, I took a photo of where he saw it and then photoshopped what he described.

It was actually even better defined than it appears in this image - it moved swiftly and quietly - to me it was a 'woman' but could have been a skinny man wearing what appeared to be a shroud like (even ragged) outfit - what troubles me is that it was a 'classic' ghost appearance you would maybe see in a movie lol - I wouldn't have expected that....

Yeah, I have felt it growing stronger lately, either that or I've been watching too many documentaries. Maddy now refuses point blank to sleep in her bedroom. She's now asleep in our bed, totally by herself, and she went off to bed happily, so it's that bedroom she doesn't like.

The room was darker when Ben saw it as only the living room lamp was on.

At least it was non-threatening in behaviour...that's a definitate plus.

But weird that it's happening in this house - it was built in the 80s so I don't know why spirits are so attracted to it.

May not necessarily be attached to the house, but rather the people in the house. Or...the energy there, may be of an older time. Even before houses were built upon the land.

Actually I'm hoping this makes sense - but it was more like a 'Victorian nightgown' than a shroud - I don't know how I differentiated really - but 'shroud' was the best way I could think of describing it - but now on reflection I can see the differences....

Hey Ben that's awesome. I have also seen one like this, although the colour was more yellow than grey mist.

I am lucky to have a psychic connection and can communicate - have you tried this too Ben? Or even Tracey? The fact you 'felt' it was female is a great start!!

Liselle, one of these days we'll have to invite you over for dinner and you can check out the spirits in our house - I'd love to know more about them. Maybe you could solve the mystery of Madelyn's bedroom too, and why she doesn't like sleeping in there. I haven't tried communicating with them other than feeling rather silly last year asking whatever was in the bedroom to move towards the light. But the activity in our house has definately stepped up again. It 'feels' more active, (whether it's just because I've been watching ghost docos for my book) but for a while there it had all died down.

Do you know I was just saying that to hubby last night - seeing as we all live fairly close by LOL - I think hubby and Ben would get on great, get that alcohol flowing he he he... And you guys can see the UFO spot too!

I would love to come investigate your home, and have dinner - I even know of a paranormal investigation team who can try and gather evidence in Brisbane if you want to open your house up for one evening but that's up to you guys.
